Salty Shores

Life on an abandoned island that is nearly 1,600 KM from any other land is very alienating. The thought of being alone, on an island, in the middle of the sea, with no one to call for help can send a shiver to the back of someone’s spine. It feels like I’m in an adventurous film/documentary, or a show that could be called, “strive for survival: The secrets of an island.” You have to learn a lot of things without help like, making a fire with just wood and rocks or, how to sharpen a stick sharp enough to become a spear. I find killing any sea creature and having to see their guts in my hands detestable. Though the island is very calm most of the time when there isn’t a crab or a scorpion trying to cause harm to me.

This island might cause a very extroverted person to go insane. A very isolated island with no resources like this very one can teach you many survival skills and sharpen your mind. Anyone with isolophobia wouldn’t survive even a solar day in the 11 hours of sunlight. If you ever think on going on vacation, just make sure you get back home on time.
